With Intel retail HSF and heatsink compound from RadioShack, this morning I'm able to OC my PIII 700e to 1GHz. I'm running with CUSL2, and 256 MB of Kingston ValueRam Cas 2/2/2. The strange thing is the Temp. monitoring program come from Asus shows that the CPU's temp is only 10C/50/F ! Can anyone tells me is it accurate? Other senior OClockers, which Temp. monitoring program you are using, and where can I get it?

PS. I'm still using the onboard VGA, it sucks!

Unfortunately, it's not accurate. Do a search here on "CUSL2" and you'll see that people are experiencing temperatures(C) down to the low single digit range. If you flash to the final 1002 bios, you should receive accurate temperatures in the BIOS. This is okay, but how many times are we going to restart our computer and go into the BIOS to check temperatures?

asus boards are notorious for this, other than that they are great. they could have worse flaws.
