PII 350 locked or unlocked?

I'm not very familiar with overclocking, but I just bought a PII 350MHz cpu. Can someone direct me to a site that let's me know if this one of the earlier cpu's that is locked (can only overclock with MHz) or unlocked (can change the clock multiplier). I need to know about the seriel number and what date they locked it. Thanks...

If it was made before August 19, 1998, it is unlocked. I have one that is unlocked, but it requries a BX mobo capable of changing the multiplier. The only one I knew of at the time that could do it was the ABIT BH6. Check out the review of this board on this website, as it tells of a setting in the bios that lets you unlock it:

ABIT BH6
