The foot and mouth and mad cow disease scare in Europe is causing problems at Europa McDonalds. So they are looking into pigs.

I guess a bacon burger is redundant!

It seems HAMburgers are really that!

Anyway, McDonalds is CRAP.

To beef up performance, McDonald's said it's accelerating its menu variety in Europe and emphasizing more pork options, reviewing cost-cutting possibilities and reducing capital expenditures.

Here little piggy!

From what I understand, Foot and Mouth Disease is nothing but a media scare. It is the equivalent of the common cold and doesnot taint the meat. It is fatal in very few of the cases, as most animals recover within 1-2 weeks. The only thing killing those animals are people.

From what I read in my paper this morning, F&D is not fatal to animals most of the time. The only thing is that it will stop milk cows from producing milk and animals loose vigor and do not grow as fat. Farmers destroy their animals to stop the disease from spreading, so other farmers' animals do not catch the disease. Since the virus is easily destroyed by cold or heat, meat from an F&D animals is perfectly safe to eat after cooking.
