THANK GOD.

I was afraid it was going to be the old "Toss the silver wear down the stairs" joke or a derivative of it.

This is much more interesting than the joke BTW!

i don't even know the joke you are referring too, but i'll leave the jokes to you. 😉

he's refering to a joke on how to name Chinese people.

Q: how do you name a chinese person?

A: Drop a bunch of silverware on the table (creating a "chingchongting..tap som bong!" sound.

another..

Q: how do you name a vietnamese person?

A: stretch a rubber band and flick it (byong nyung nee myung...)

as for the massive amounts of kims and lees and shit, the reason for that is because way back when, the kingdom began to sell the rights to famous' clans' geneologies. Ask any Korean if they are an original kim, or lee, and they'll say "yes my family is the original."

But all of them will say that since their ancestors the rights to the geneology line by money.

That's why you see wwaaaay too many kims and lees.

as for me, i'm korean yes.

my name is yang sung-hyun.

What I find strange about Korean last names is that there are only about 250 total right?

But within that 250, isn't something like 50% of the population a Kim, Lee, Park or Choi?

That would be Chinese names, and actually cooking wares.

For Japanese names you toss a handful of bean sprouts and write down the characters it forms.

bak shi mon.
Normally i think the grandfather from the family's side gets to name the first born son (which i am) but instead for some reason i ended up named by my father (Which is the norm in america, but once again, As korean it's kinda unusual).

PS: Why troll a thread as "uninteresting" when you entered it? I dont remember the title being "Hawt nekkid chicks" and then reading this and feeling jipped. Congrats on raising your post count needlessly.
