Damn straight. They also have the highest defective rate of any electronics manufacturer in the world, and they're not even the biggest electronics manufacturer. The 2 Sony TV's we've had have crapped out after a pretty short time. I for one will also never buy a Sony again.

How much were you out?

I spent $3K!! on their top of the line Wega XBR and when I went to them about my problem they treated me like sh!t even though the problem was well documented and a result of their poor QC.

They basically told me to get lost and that I was a liar.

Since that time, I've purchased a $2400 LCD RPTV and a $1500 DLP projector. I've still got a few big ticket items I need to get and they will never see a cent of my money again if I can help it.

Fvck Sony!
 
Hmm.. The tv I have now is $1100 retail, I'm thinking about going up to a mitsu 48inch rptv at $1300 retail
