Piece of ____ hp 656c Help

Have deskject 656c printer. USB connection. Works perfect on XP. Can't get 98 drivers to work on second computer. Tried downloading drivers from HP same thing as CD drivers. Anyone know of a good place to get a good driver that actually works?

These drivers are for USB connections....Win98 USB drivers...give these a shot, and make sure you don't have USB cable plugged in.

That link is one that I tried. It did not work. I have tried hooking it to two computers running 98SE same thing on both. It will start printing, then error out saying check that printer is turned on and cable is connected. No problems on XP though.
