pidgeon proofing my window?

I was wondering if any one can suggest anything on getting rid of the pidgeons that land on my air conditioner. I live in an apartment building and can't put anything dangerous on top of my AC because it can fall down so no barbed wires

When in doubt, electrify it.

Edit: Just put a large Wedge-shapped thing on top so they slide off😀

edit2: Use acrylic so

a) it doesn't totally block your view
b) so they won't see it, and will tell tehir friends to stay away

Buy one of those fancy fake owls that moves its head and stick it on your A/C.

straighten out a bunch of paperclips or other metal wiring and implant them onto a piece of styrofoam and tape it on top of your A/C. you'll have yummy pigeon-kabobs for dinner! or just get a fake owl

Goosemaster's suggestion was actually really good- get a sheet of acrylic the width of the AC, and 36" long, duct tape one side to the outside edge of the AC, and use clear packing tape on the window side. You can still look through, and the pidgeon's can't land. Be sure to block off the sides with more acrylic- it might be easier to get some pallet wrapping tape though- it's like saran wrap but really tough. Generally, it comes on a roll like paper towels, then the minimum wage guy tapes one roll to the side of the stack of boxes on the pallet, then runs around and around and around and around and around and around, eventually wrapping up the whole pallet of boxes.

Ahhhh, you want the infamous "RID-A-Pigeon Pads"!

Just get a few of those Glue pads made for big rats & put velcro on both the bottom of the pad & the top of the AC ................ Well they'll still land but I know you can buy these glue pads in BULK! Just throw them away when full. How many pigeons could there posibly be anyway?

Wait a minute- you can't put spikey things on it because they're afraid they'll hurt someone when the AC falls out? If an AC falls on your head from multiple stories up, it's not going to matter at all if there are anti-pidgeon spikes on it.

Suggestion: capture the pigeons and sell them 🙂
I kid you not - they sell for 4 or 5 dollars each!
