I think everyone is aware at how horrible it is over there but keep in mind that Saddam was doing the same thing to his own people. When we leave they will start killing each other just like in Jordan.

Great, so now we just replace Saddam with ourselves as the butchers of the Iraqi people. We should not let them kill each other as they did in Jordan, we should kill them ourselves. :disgust:

If we call Saddam a brutal, murderous, blah blah blah dictator, how is Bush different now?

Bush isn't a dictator and if the June 30 deadline is met then other Nations may start to help a lot more then they are now. We can then start to scale back our involvement.

France even said that if Bush turns over control to the Iraqis and the UN officially recognizes the new Iraqi government then the UN and France will begin to play a bigger role.

The June 30th deadline means nothing.

The interim Iraqi government being allowed by the U.S. will be powerless. It will not have the ability to enact any laws nor have any control over the foreign troops on its own soil. It will be a puppet government that will have no respect from the Iraqi citizenry and will only serve to further the anger against the occupying forces.

That soldier who alledly made that sign should be courtmartialed and if found guilty, should be raped and then shot it the head. I say treat animals like animals, regardless of what uniform they wear. And if it was all just a joke a deshonorable discharge plus a few years in the brig should teach that dumbass a lesson.

So you think that the death penalty is an appropriate punishment for making a joke sign. Even though it is in very bad taste we don't kill comedians for making bad jokes here in the United States. Also, rape is a cruel and unusual punishment.

I do believe you are smarter than this.. do you honestly believe that the sign in question is a original? There are several people here who showed us how easy it is to photoshop cardboard backgrounds. What if you find the al-jazeera reporter responsible for photoshopping that cardboard sign?

Relax, not everyone is the president of the US and gets to kill 700+ Americans and 50000+ Iraqis based on evidence that does not exist.

It is only pictures, get it? What did you think happens when you blow up cities, blast mortars into buildings where you KNOW civilians are living and MAYBE a few insurgents?

No, those pictures cannot be real, the US only throw flowers at the Iraqis, the bombs only kill bad guys, not anyone else.

I find it funny how most of the pictures displayed do not explain the fact that more deaths and injuries are being caused by insurgents rather than U.S. forces. Some of those pictures were the cause of Insurgents firing RPGs into crowed public areas just to hit a Coalition soldier. I can list numerous examples like this. At least the coalition forces are trying their very hardest to avoid innocents from being harmed unlike the Insurgent dirtbags who could care less if they have to kill a hundred Iraqi children just to eliminate one Coalition soldier. I guess thats why they do all their fighting from holy shrines and children's schools. I also find it funny how everything always ties back as being the jews fault. Just remember those same pictures the next time a car bomb explodes killing more innocents than soldiers. I'll take Coalition liberation any day.

That?s exactly the far-left mentality, thank God that republicans are the majority, and thank God that think of our men and women as 'terrorists' aren?t the majority on the left.

But then they never have been... it's the simple fact that liberalism skewing towards such a foolish world view that hurts that side of the fence.

So are you saying that Iraqis would have been better off in the future under Hussein?

The really funny thing is that you linked to an article about a photoshopped graphic on the Internet.
