pictures of new york city?

Hey,

I recently broke my leg, and will be on crutches. I also bought plane tickets + hotel to go to new york at the end of this month about a month ago. So basically, if anyone has pictures to show me currently what the streets of new york looks like I can maybe prepare myself?

I'm imagining ice and snow all over the place, but maybe it gets shuffled to the side by all the people walking? Any recommendations for crutches + this type of condition?

Now that was a fun day to be stuck on the subway.

what's your story ? My wife never got into the subway... it was early afternoon so they were let out from work... thankfully it wasn't rush hour yet... otherwise there'd be a LOT of people stuck. She got onto an MTA bus and only made it halfway home to LI... I had to pick her up in another town at like 7 or 8pm ... a 4 to 5-hour ordeal.

Now that was a fun day to be stuck on the subway.

I wasn't stuck on the subway, but I had to walk home from work and it was the only time I could remember where "we" could just walk down 2nd avenue drinking cold :beer: because all the bars sold 'em like hot dogs and the NYPD didn't stop a single person 😀
