Yup, all Dell GX240's P4 1.7's. as of this morning, I had broken the 1000 milestone (check other thread), and have now already gotten up to 1067 thanks to those things. The fact that I have 2 machines here that run at 3 hours a shot and have been dumping all day could have something to do with it too, but those machines are a VERY nice addition :)

I have another 17 to set up but I don't have another 16 port switch to utilize as I did for those 15.

Wow do those look familiar (we use Dell at work now too). Figure about 5 WU/day out of each one if they're running some flavor of NT/2K/XP 24/7. They're nice and small but in my experience I've found them to be noisy and a PITA to work inside. The fans tend to start humming/vibrating quickly and some of the stuff inside is connected via ribbon cable. Replacing a floppy is no fun at all, especially if you have large hands.

The nice thing about Dell service is after you take their worthless "certification" test you can order warranty parts online and they're overnighted to you the next day. I'm very impressed with the service from Dell so far.

You lack only a hub/switch to get 17 more clients up and running? Make it happen! Heck, I'll look around our sites if that's what it takes! ;) We're talking about 85 WU's per day here! :Q

OK now that's established (and i can speak again!) all i can say is "Dude, you got a fleet!" ;):D

Erm, if i wasn't in the UK then i would offer to send you my 24 port 10mbps hu to get those up and running!

Take a look around Hot Deals and FS/FT and get a cheap 16+ port 10mbps hub NOW! :)

Thanks all, if I had even a dime I would get another 16 port. But my spending money for a while is very tight and I was able to budget in the 16 port I just got to get these things running.

Oh well, guess Smokeball didn't check back...

FYI all, losing 5 of the dells, only to be replaced with 11! Thats bringing me up to a total of 21 of these things. The 11 new ones are temporary only though, the 10 that are there in the picture (stacked all in one pic) are here to stay :)
