i LOVE the blacked out tails of the 06 model.
and the 18's look good as well.
love the color, for an orange its a great color.
somehow the GTO is the only car ive ever seen that looks GOOD in Orange, and Yellow.

and the Original looked JUST like the LeMans with a hood scope, few changes, and a big ass engine thrown in.

I wasnt thinking about buying it. I was dropping my buddy off there so he could pick up his car and was just BSing with the salesman. Check my sig, I've already got my fast toy

If you can find an 05 you like. The only 05s I saw were either a color I didn't like or automatics.

the one i test drove, was a Midnight Blue/Black Interior/6spd/17's 05 model as well.
The LS2 is a great engine and the interior on the GTO is really nice. It puts the Corvette's interior to shame.
If you throw a roots blower on the GTO like what the GT500 has, you should outperform the GT500. It will be a lot cheaper too because the blower will cost less than $10K, especially if you don't get it polished.
The new Mustang looks great and with Shelby's provenance, it's great, but at the end of the day, it's still a Ford product. :thumbsdown:

As far as the GTO vs. Mustang GT goes, the GTO is faster (Car and Driver did a head to head) by an arguably significant amount. Though the Mustang has a better image, and most people who buy cars do so because of the image that a car carries.
i saw one yesterday getting on the freeway, i have to say when he floored it it definitely sounded mean with that nice engine growl
