Pictures fuzzy along one side

I love my new Sony RX10 IV but I think I'm going to have to send it back for repair or replacement. I found that the righthand edge of all photos is fuzzy. The fuzziness doesn't look like bokeh, just fuzzy. I first noticed the problem with landscape pics.

The pic below shows the problem. I center focused on the condor then moved the frame to capture the condor using different parts of the sensor. I placed the each cropped pic roughly where it was in each separate frame.

My guess is that a lens element is out of alignment or the sensor isn't seated correctly.

Assuming you did your tests as you describe, it does seem like the right edge isn't right.

My only other suggestion would be to photograph a flat object, where the entirety of the scene is on the same plane. Maybe stop down your aperture ( to f/8 ?) and try it and see if that makes a difference.
