This one is really small, it's a Smart. Most models have a nifty 6 gear engine, just 2 seats and are only about two and a half meters long.

messed up.... a car, but without a V6 sucking in 5mpg? how can that work? It's as though Europe is part of some agreement where they're concerned about the amount of pollution they produce...

Nice pics!

Go back and visit Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. You've only touched the tip of the iceberg.

how long did you stay in London?

Only four days, but if we had stayed any longer we would have come back paupers. The pound is so strong right now.

There are several pictures from Venice, although it was a bit touristy there for our tastes. I would have loved to go to Rome, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria in addition to Spain, but we didn't want to rush ourselves. I feel like I really experienced France properly, and have developed quite a fondness for Paris.

I have family in Germany, so I have the chance to go often, but my last trip it was to celebrate my 25th Anniversary of a happy marriage, so we went also to ITALY (Rimini, Pescara, Rome, Pisa and Firenze) I drove like crazy with no speed limit (love it) -
Europe in general is beatiful, so much to see and learn about their history and the pace of living is so different than here. We already visited London, Paris, Rome, Austria, Switzerland and the small cities aroung Nuremberg (where my family lives).
We want to go back to Rome, Firenze and Paris, and we want to visit Venice, Prague, Munich and Spain as well.
Maybe next year, since I'm getting outsource (my entire IT group) in May.

Smart Cars, FTW! (BTW, one of them appears prominently in "The DaVinci Code", IIRC)

So, where'd you go? I see Venice, Paris and London(? that clock tower looks like Big Ben).

Honestly, the best food we tried was at a Thai restaurant in London, by the Chalk Farm exit in the Tube. Absolutely delicious.

I also enjoyed my duck meal at Le Petit St. Benoit, a cozy little place in Paris.

Whatever you do, don't order an oeuf du mayonnaise. I like eggs and I like mayonnaise, but not half of a hard-boiled egg buried under half a jar of mayo. :Q

Very astute. We also visited Amsterdam for two days, but I did not take any pictures there. It was cold and rainy when we went.
