Shoot Osama in the balls for me please 🙂

Why do arm guys always seem to hold their gusn the way you do in your posing photo?

I think that is the way they are trained to hold them when not around buildings so it is easier to shoot

Thanks for the update and your invaluable service, TallBill.

While I know nothing about military, I was wondering if there was a lack of foresight involved with the design of electronics (were they not designed for desert use?). I ask this because when the war started, there were reports on the news the oil used in small arms was attracting dust and jamming the guns.

It's funny you should ask about that. Bicycles suffer the same fate. There's a never-ending debate about which kind of lube is best for the drivetrain. I'm happy right now with wax-based lubes, because they tend to repel dirt and grime (but require frequent applications). I wonder what sort of research has been done into gun lube?

To put it simply, lots... 🙂 I use rem-oil for everything around the house because it is an amazing substance. In military use, firearm design and frequent maintiance are pressed in importance because the water, dust, etc could always cause trouble no matter the lube. (modern military firearms are amazingly durable compared to even 60-70's era weapons)
