i never drew it was posted on another forum i visit but it pretty much summed up wat me n my friends feel here in the uk

was close ttho (i know not all of us likes bush) was it almost 50/50 ?

What's funny? Those that were fighting to get Bush kicked out of office thought it was a life-or-death situation. Nothing should be funny at all.

Actually, it's just that I've seen three variations of this same thing today, and it wasn't funny the first time. Fvck the rest of the world. When they pay my taxes and go to work for me, they can have some say in who runs my country. Dumbass.

well im sure of one thing....i dont like bush but i bet he could this country (uk) a million times better than a$$ hat blair and "jabba" 2 jags prescott.

them west hating muslim clerics (abu hamza an the like) are still here scrounging of our taxes.....im sure bush would have them out pronto

Yes, it was close and almost 50/50 (51-48). It was one of the five closest American presidential elections in the history of our nation.

Of course, Dick Cheney calls this a mandate, and fatuous twerps on this board are pompously lecturing the 56 million Americans who voted against George Bush that they are out of the mainstream.

They only wish.

Which is sad considering 90% of the people who voted for Kerry voted for him on the platform "I'm not Bush". Next time stop scraping the bottom of the barrel

Hit the nail right on the head. A mandate isn't the vote of 19% of this country's population. A mandate isn't a 51/49 split in the electorate.
