I have two FP tvs..32 Regza and a Samsung 4061f....i bought the DVE calibration disk...and went through the routine...

I have comcast cable, a nice sony upscaling dvd player...bout a year old.

what i have noticed is that if you have a great picture on Discovery HD and turn to HBO HD or abc HD, the picture quality may not be as good...also...i have seen variance from show to show...

is this commonplace? You spend a great deal of money and your discriminating eye can get pretty disappointing...

maybe i am just blind and am not tweaking the TV properly...

comments or suggestions are most welcome

DHD, or now it is called HDT, ALWAYS looks great on my TV, it is like going almost from 480i to 1080i, it is that big of a difference, HDT always has a good picture with me.
