Picture quality is worse with KVM

I just hooked up my two computers with an AirLink 101 2 port KVM switch. Now it's like I can see my picture refreshing.. it's not horrible but I wonder if there's a way to make it stop

Is this common with KVM switches? It does it for both of my computers

It's like there's waves going up the screen.

generally the more devices you go through between the computer and your eyes, the more drop in quality. I dont know why your screen seems to be shaking however. When I tried using a cheap KVM, i got ghosting - in its true sense, that is, i got double images slightly offset from each other, one really dim, but very noticeable.

i had this problem before..

it was with cheap cables off the kvm..

kvm adds distance between your pc and monitor.. you can try to get a shorter cable and see if it helps.. or try different brand

60hz. I've tried going to 70 but it makes it worse

it's barely noticeable but we'll see I'm gonna go play some farcry.. if I notice it then I'm gonna return it.

Try something like the belkin omnicube. Cheap KVMs are horrible.
