Nice. Where'd you get that case? Stupid question: Is that a temp guage toward the bottom of the case?

I bought it from an online company, colorcase. The case itself is named 'neon light' so if you search for it you should get a lot of results. ...And yes that is a temp. gauge at the bottom ;) I wish i could do maybe a blue or red neon in there, but i'm afraid. lol

Looks nice. Nice setup. I almost got that case. The temp gauge was a very tempting feature. I like the look of my antec 1030 better though.

PS. Why the Asus badge if you have MSI board?

As it's been told in other post. Case badges add 15mhz to your system!!!! woot.

Ok where did you get that temp gauge?? and how much!!! looks awesome..i'm interested

johndoe... like i said..... i fried some stuff in there, heh. The temp gauge is built into the case... u can find it at colorcase.com i think.... I don't like the case in the fact that i had to raise the mobo with some ducttape...making the PCI devices sit properly. ...yeah.

Wow! The case and the monitor are both purdy! (Yes, I like those flat CRT's :D )

$80 for a case without a PSU isn't too bad, especially since the case looks so cool :) If you add in a decent PSU, it'll come out to $140 or so; around the same cost as the Antec 1040B.

Good setup you have there. I am about to upgrade, thinking about one of those nice shiney aluminum ones. Maybe a Lan Li or something close.

non shielded speakers a little close??

one thing i don't like about that case is the external floppy bay, since i don't use one and having one like that leaves a big hole open...but anyway

lookin slick - i'm itching for a flat CRT now...

I could say "Nice job" like everyone else but criticism also helps. :)

Should the case really be that close to the user? My concern would be sound..
Also cooling comes to mind, not many venting holes. Monitors radiate heat, do you want that heat to be next to your computer?
Using ACS speakers along with aiwa, do the tonal characteristics match? Also, placement of the surrounds - shouldn't they be ear level wall mounted on the left/right sides of the room.
Color coordination: white mic, grey monitor, silver case, black speakers, grey mouse, black keyboard, blue chair/mouse pad, beige desk, orange desktop.
Are your cables and components tuned and is that plain paint on the wall I see? not glazed and tuned to be acoustically sound ? lol jk

haha funny... HouRman :p Well.... about the heat thing, my CPU runs around 37- and 41C under full load. System runs at 25.6 C all times. And yeah, i'm thinking about dropping the Case down on the ground somewhere, but it jut looks sexy up here.

Thor86: I hope my Awia speakers are sheilded too! ~ shiiiit. lol yeah i'm gonna put the case on the ground.

Any other suggestions?
