Picture of A7V133 has a fan on the northbridge. I kinda suspected that the northbridge was too hot on the A7V.

i thought they were going to drop the ata100 for the A7V133, it's in that pic though... Good deal, i liked having that on the board.

Oh man, it will make the system even louder! I'm wondering if MSI K7T Turbo will also use an active cooling for the northbridge. ;(

Well thats a A7V... dont know why they added the 133 part to it... its the same board I have, and adding a heatsink to the northbridge is not nessecary, nor do I think Asus installed that, that was added by someone but not asus.

The new Asus MB is A7M266 BTW.

Also, the only difference I see from my A7V is that that one has onboard audio.
