Picture in Picture w/ Digital Cable or DirecTV?

my aunt just got a new TV with picture in picture. since she has digital cable, the tv is just set at 3 and you change the channel through the cablebox. did any of you guys get Picture in Picture to work? it is a 2 tuner picture in picture. TIA

Nope, I can't do that with mine... as that only works when the TV remote is used to control the channel. When you use a cable box it outputs the signals and it's a single channel at a time. I don't really see how it could work...

yeah, that's exactly what i told her and my dad. i've never heard one person complain about not being able to use that feature so i was wondering if anyone had any solutions...

THeWorminator: how did you get it to work with digital cable?

Yes and no.

If you get a splitter, and split the cable BEFORE it goes into the cable box, send one end of the cable into the TV, and one into the cable box, then run s-video from the cable box to the TV/receiver(assuming you can, my 27" Sanyo has an s-video input, and my receiver has 4..so I'm covered..dont know your setup)... you can watch 'basic' channels on the PiP. (for me, thats 2-70, and digital being the higher numbers)
