I'm interested in setting up two PCs on one display, at the same time (think of a TV with picture in picture).
I can do this through a video out and TV tuner card to overlay one desktop onto the other. The effective resolution, however, is quite low (less than 800x600). I'm looking for a hardware solution, as software will likely be too slow (that is, things like PCAnywhere, Exceed or VMware aren't quite what I'm looking for).
Are there monitors which handle this sort of thing? Even better, is there a high resolution video-in solution (via a monitor cable, for example)?
