I flew to San Francisco to visit two good friends of mine this past weekend, and we dined and shopped our way through the city. Here are some pictures I'd like to share with the AnandTech OffTopic community.

Brunch - Pressed sheep's cheese and almond sandwich, ham quiche, bread pudding with warm fruit, cabbage salad and a large oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookie

Dinner - food we enjoyed during the show - glazed miso salmon over a forbidden rice salad, filet mignon with potato stars and shitake mushrooms, and sake/mixed drinks

For anyone visiting San Francisco with friends or a partner in the future, I highly recommend making reservations at AsiaSF for an evening of amazing food and fun.

The sheep cheese and almond sandwich was delightful. The almonds were prepared in some sort of fresh lemon mixture, which combined for a fantastic taste.

Yes indeed! They were incredible, and I would like to try the sheep/goat cheese and quince pressed sandwich the next time I visit SF.

There's no denying that. I showed the pictures to my husband, who said that it's strange seeing something like that because a male body will typically react "YES!" while the head screams "NO! YOU ARE BEING DECEIVED!" He took it well. 🙂 And the ladies are gorgeous in person; they also act as waitresses for your table, and some are indistinguishable from real women - many are more beautiful than most of the "real" women I saw that same night!
 
not by any chance it's in Thailand is it? I saw them in Thailand... wow.. Do I still consider gay if I like trainies? 😀
