Picture Critique + Photoshop help

On a recent trip i was able to finally play with my rebel and had one shot that caught my eye.

Here

It was a pretty spontaneous picture so it was shot in auto mode.

I am asking for help from you photoshop folks about the bottom right hand corner of the picture. A third friend was in the frame and i think it ruins the picture. Although when i look at the image my eyes go to the couple, its still a pretty big distraction. Could one of you guys kindly edit him out for me? (please no giant black splotches )

2nd thing is i would like to know what i could have improved on the photo. Please critique me as well!

I wouldn't consider editing the third guy out. Instead, I'd just go for a tighter crop of the couple. Not sure how much of this photo can be cropped without losing elements you want to retain, but I doubt there's a good way make the third guy disappear. This goes for your second question as well - keep an eye out for distracting elements when framing your photo and don't be afraid to fill-the-frame on a few shots.

I have an idea, crop it into 2 photos, one with the 2 heads and another with hands.

I'll have to check on a different screen but they didn't seem green to me. Any idea how to fix the green problem? I really don't know how to use photoshop at all.

At first their skin tone was too light but looking at them in person they are that pale.

I wanted to keep the face and the hands for that photo. Ivan saw the 2 important parts.

well my idea is that u can display the 2 pictures together, not necessary within the same crop.

and yeah, I am at home right now looking at my monitor, there's still a green tin at their skin. Try image -> color balance. I wish I can be more help in photoshop but that's all I learn when I was fixing my family portrait a few weeks ago.
