Picture CD

I'm trying to figure out what the best way to give out copies of a bunch of pics I have. Something like the Kodak Picture CD, which (from what I'm told) pops up upon the cd being inserted, and lets you browse through the pics & print out whatever you want. Maybe a bit of software that will autogenerate some html or something? Anyone done this before, or have ideas?

This is to be idiot-proof, ie, "just work."--the end user shouldn't have to install a lot of stuff or anything.
