IMO: She doesn't deserve a dime. I wouldn't be suprised if his father showed up from prison asking where his share is.
 
what do you mean she doesnt deserve a dime? im 19 and my mom looks just as young as her and if i ever made the money Lebrons gonna be making I would support my mom within a heart beat...

for real, my moms put up with enough crap already, and if (when hehe) i start making millions im gonna make sure she lives the asy life. it's one of the things that makes me work hard in school

Father:
"Jackson, a concert promoter and a real estate broker, pleaded guilty in August to state charges of mortgage fraud and is expected to be sentenced to three years in prison."

BTW his mother also was able to secure a substancial loan on James "assets", and buy him a hummer.
 
I don't know how much of her public image is closer to the real person, but if what I've read about her is any indication, she's not hugging her son. She's hugging 15 million dollars.

so she had a personal crises, so what. it's not like she's trying to sue him and say that a percentage of the money he makes in the NBA she's entitled to. and at least while she was going through that, she didn't just neglect him. she got him a good place to stay. and as far as the hummer; it's his hummer, he should pay for it.
 
Man, I would hope if I ever have a son, he won't be naturally athletically gifted. People might think I 'made' him that way to cash in.
 
That rim was cash lying on the ground. That's how out of hand LeBron James Fever is. LeBron's surrogate father, Eddie Jackson, tried to grab the rim himself -- "for the trophy case," he said -- but the AD, Gene Lolli, wouldn't let him have it.

"We'll sue you, then," said Jackson, who is possibly facing jail time for mortgage fraud. "We'll sue you for the fall."

LeBron's mother, Gloria, then started chirping herself. "Sue, baby, sue," she said, laughing.

Jackson asked again for the rim, and again, the AD said no.

Jackson: "You take this lawsuit then."

Gloria (howling with laughter): "We about to have a sweeeeet Christmas!"

Jackson: "Lawsuit, man."

Gloria (laughing again): "He's trying to get paid!"
