looks like a scsi controller and a video card. some old video cards had a different port on them, but i don't recall what that second port was. my millenium has one.

The top card looks like a SCSI card, the bottom looks like an old Matrox video card. With a clear picture of the main chip on each card it should be pretty easy to determine what they are.

I have a Matrox Millenium II in my closet. Looks nearly EXACTLY like that. I believe the ribbon cable attachment things are for a extra-memory daughtercard. It also has the two video outputs; no, they can't be used at the same time. Anyways, that's my guess - A Matrox videocard.

Isn't there silkscreening on the chips on the card that might give some clues?

An ISA SCSI card is even more useless than your typical useless ISA card. Assuming the video card is a Matrox, no it isn't dual head. The second connector was used for VIVO if you had a Matrox RainbowRunner daughter card.

The big ISA one is likely a 16-bit SCSI controller card. Slow like ass.
The video card is a Matrox MGA - one VGA, one 24-pin DFP (Digital Flat Panel, very old school) connector

Enjoy. :)

Yup, the first ones a SCSI card. The second card is a Matrox vid card. The other connector is either a 24-pin DFP as said before OR a Video in/out connector. Just needs a dongle with appropriate ports...

I'm pretty sure that the other port is actually a 15 pin joystick port - I had a 2Mb mystique that had one....

Are you guys sure that isn't an ISA IDE controller card? That doesn't look wide enough to be SCSI in one shot and the other is so blurry...

First card is an Adaptec AHA-1542F/1540CF ISA Bus Mastering HBA. It has a SCSI AND Floppy Controller with associated BIOS. The "printer port" is a centronix SCSI interface for narrow SCSI external devices that were very popular at the time. This is 1994 we're talking about here!

The second card is a Matrox Millenium MGA series with either 2 or 4MB of WRAM.

Cheers!
