Taken this afternoon.
I know a family that owns and runs a tow-truck company. When the owners didn't return for it in 33 days, the company made a request for the title to the county and won it (as they usually do), then sold it "as is, at auction" to me for a whopping $300. I got it so cheap because it was pure profit in his pocket.
It has the following:
-comfortably seats four w/ a little room in the back for four spare tires and about a cubic foot extra
-2.6 liter V-6 (wanna change that out, eventually ::evil grin:: )
-5-speed stick
-shift on the fly 4-wheel drive
-after market moon roof that cracks open at the back, lifting up about three inches - then sliding out completely for sunroof (just found out that it comes off completely today)
-heat, but no A/C -and it heats up VERY fast
-geared down for power instead of accel.
It needs the following:
1) hole in exhaust fixed
2) catalytic converter replaced (done)
3) tune up
4) lifters adjusted
5) replaced semi-cracked windshield (done)
6) new breaks (aren't necessary, but I want them done anyway)
7) new clutch (isn't necessary, but I want it done anyway)
8) revamp sound system (VERY necessary, and I want it done anyway)
Welp!? Any other suggestions as to what to fix next??
