My father, who is a film and commercial location scout, and owner of dbsproductions in Chicago IL, took these shots for me with my camera when he came to see me. He has done work for some films, one all should know as The Blues Brothers back in the 70's, to some Wheaties boxes featuring Micheal Jordon, along with severa BBC documentaries . He is semi retired now hat he is close to 70 years old.

I asked him to take my camera while he was here so I could see what this camera could do in the hands of someone who knew how to take shots. They are of a local cotton field at the time of harvest. Just got around to re-sizing them and putting them up to link them. Been meaning to having this done for a month or so now. I picked out a few of my favorite. ENJOY!

These last 2 are 2 I shot not to long ago.

And a night shot of the full moon.

Hope you all liked them!

im sorry, but i only liked the last 2. when i think professional pics, I think along the lines of what GTaudiophile, virtualgames0, or fuzzybabybunny posts. But then again, they use DSLRs with expensive lenses

edit: add tfinch2 to that list too

They are cool pics, but they look like they were obviously done with a P&S.

No doubt, he has a good eye though.

I do like the cat pic.

I guess thats where I was going with professional in the title. He has a great eye I feel as well. I have seen a lot of his shots he has taken over the 50+ years and he has had lot of his shot published, or was dont for commercials and film. Of course he shoots with professional film cameras. I just had to see what mine woudl take with his eye looking through it.

Yeah, that cat shot was mine :D
