I'm wanting to build a new computer desk and am torn between a custom suspended metal rig and an elaborate wood U shaped setup. Interested in what other people have for layouts of your desk/workarea/pc setup.

Any ideas and pics are welcome.

What's a suspended metal desk look like?

I have a corner desk and I kinda wish I didn't, it takes up a ridiculous amount of room. Then again I'm not sitting in front of a tv, just a 22" lcd. Still, have you taken into account how much space one will consume? I think I have a pic on bbzzdd but the site seems down. I'll edit it in later.

Edit: Pic

I think I'd rather have a la-z-boy, wireless kb/trackball (maybe also a mouse for gaming?) and a big TV. Mmmmmmm...

The suspended desk idea is to have two steel rods running over top of the seat. This would be used to mount your surround sound speakers and monitor onto. The desk would be more of a cockpit.

The computer room is10x15' with 10' ceilings.

Ditto, and having that huge LCD right in front of you has got to cause googly eyes =)

This is an old pic, my monitors are bigger, now I have a 24" Gateway ws and a samsung 19"ws and where my keyboard is sitting is another PC, I have a nice Lane leather execs' chair, Recline it ,feet on bed, keybord on lap. Wall mounted monitors are great. I build my own as they are so expensive but after having a few I'll never use a desk again.

I went down to a 24" monitor. Better IQ and easier on the eyes. That thing was too bright.

Thanks for the links, keep them coming.
