Pics of the next-gen Ford Mustang...

The back looks like the previous gen Accord coupe or an NSX and the front looks like a late 60s or early 70s Mustang IMO.

It would appear, in this case, by retro they mean boring. For a muscle-car, it certainly doesn't look muscular.

scorp00, the Autoweek article says, they're hoping to get 280hp out of the 4.6L V8.

Another variant of the reskined pinto. The Pintang.

I like Poontang better😀

Which is what every guy would be getting lots of in that car. 🙂

Unlike everyone else I love the new design........it has a sleek classic design to it. My only gripe is that damn brake cooling duct......non-functional on the 60's version I know.....but it really shouldn't be included if it's non-functional. Kinda disappointed engine wise too - thought they'd drop the Crammer engine into it.....or the FR500 (if that's not the same one). It's only rumors now anyway...maybe they will

OMG @ Adul's link!! *runs to bank to borrow $120k*

Hoping for 280 is still sad. My car is 8 years old, and came with 275 hp from the factory.

But most people who buy cars just want something pretty even if it is a POS mechanically.

It's been named one of the top engines by C&D for the past couple years. That's why there's the 400+ hp Cobra if you're looking for ball-plastering performance

400+ isn't exactly ball-plastering performance. It's decent, but not great.

Stikingly pathetic. I lost respect for the mustang when the current models came out. WAY too plasticky. This is just wrong.

Man that looks like a cross between a TR6, a Porche 914 and a 65 Mustang. It will take some time getting use to that look

260, MAYBE 280hp. At this rate the mustang should catch the F-Bodies performance of the 90's by the time the next F-Bodies come out with 400hp standrad 🙂
