Well my parents needed a second car and went out and purchased a used 2000 Buick Lesabre. Their other car, a 95' Plymonth Voyager, has over 220,000 thousand miles on it and were worried it might break down and be stuck without a car. They got a steal on the new car and even talked them into including some goodies. The car is in mint condition and drives really nice. They love it. My dad took some pictures of it today with his digital camera from work, and I'm wondering what everyone thinks. I personally think it's looks really nice.

The black cat in the picture is one of three and she's mine. The car behind the van is my dad's police car.

Nice car! But your picture links are messed up, the dash and inside links point to the outside pic.

The car has about 70,000 miles on it. It was originally owned by an older gentlemen at the dealership who couldn't drive any more. I think my parents paid about $8,500 for it with new tires, floormats, etc. When I go home this summer, I'll be able to drive it. I wonder if it drives like our old 81' Crown Victora we had.

I bet those brand new floormats sealed the deal!

When looking for a new car, my parents didn't even consider Buick or oldsmobile. WHen I asked my mom why, she replied back with "They're for old people" ;) That said, my mom drives a 2000 Honda Civic (She wants a 5th gen Maxima, though), and my father drives an F-150 Supercab ;)

They wanted a good car for the freeway that got good gas mileage and rides nice since they travel hundreds miles a week. This car amazingly get about 33mpg for it's size on the freeway but around 20 in the city. That's not a big deal to them since they live in the really small town in the middle of Missouri.

The Crown Vic in the picture is my dad's ride for work since he's the Police Chief in town.

Man, you guys ought to be a little more considerate of people on dial-up. Also:
  • Crop
  • Adjust Levels
  • Resize
  • Use Lower Res. Jpeg

Yes. 220 thousand miles. Bought it brand new in 95' and has seen basically freeway miles. Only thing that's gone wrong with it is that the ac has been replaced and a couple of rear heater lines that got ripped apart from some garbage on the freeway. My dad always changes the fluids and takes pretty good care of it. There is a rust spot forming around one of the rear windows and the paint starting to peal in spots due to the weather. I'm suprised the transmission hasn't gone out yet, because I that's a problem with chrysler cars.

I wish my dad were a police chief. Why doesn't his car have any logos or the word "Police" on it?
