So this weekend me and NewSc2 went to Coachella. Left early Saturday morning hoping to get to see Christopher Lawrence at 330.

Get to the wonderful Moreno Valley area to get stuck in TRAFFIC. So we're thinking FVCK must be an accident on this pathetic 2 lane highway. 5 minutes later....

. Then thanks to mapquest and their wack directions, we get lost in THE LOVELY CITY OF BEAUMONT. Isn't it such a pretty city?

So by this time it's about 2ish, I'm thinking w00t, an hour and a half left to spare. oops, guess not. New TSX, looks pretty nice.

Didn't get to smuggle in a camera for Saturday, will let NewSc2 talk about that, here's the pics from Sunday.

white stripes was pretty good, nothing too out of the ordinary IMHO, but it's cool hearing 7 nation army on a 40k watt sound system haha.

RHCP was off the hook, best performance @Coachella by far.

Beastie boys on Saturday sucked... First off they were pretty late, but Mixmaster Mike was damn good on the turntables, but then after the Beastie Boys came out they started to tell everybody to stop the crowd surfing and moshing and that just killed the mood, and then not long after they started talking about the US and Iraq and how the US was bullying countries around.

It really wasn't the same after that - I left for Roger Sanchez with NeuroSynapsis. Heard they messed up on a few songs too.

I went to Coachella as well and took a bunch of pics in Joshua Tree and stuff. I'll post them up later when I get home.

Here's one for now though.

I thought Timo Maas was about the best act out of the weekend. Underworld was good too and played a super long set.
