Pics of my mountain trip

Just downloaded the images (heading for another several day trip tomorrow) and thought ppl here might enjoy them.

The target, this not very high (2300m) and easily accessible peak (1.5hrs of climbing). Since we climbed on a cloudy day, most of the pics are of the hills/valleys around the peak. Here is the peak itself (you can see the same structure in the first pic) and this one shows a cloud about to cover it. An exellent view of the valey around the peak, with snow still visible in some places and here a cloud about to cover the valley. We descended part of the way in these conditions, then got off and walked the rest of the way. Here you can see one of the villages outside the city.

Overall a nice day out. Might do it again, but this time with mountain bikes, since there are about 15km of nice paths on the descent, which look like this (sadly, this pic is a bit out of focus)

Sofia, Bulgaria actually.

The really great thing about Bulgaria is that it has 90% of Canada's beauty (and some extra stuff), compressed into 1.2% of the land area.
