I snagged this off of eBay over a year ago and worked for a while on it, then I put it away for a while. Well, now that I've moved back up to school, I brought it with me so I could work on it if I was bored. Well, messing with my new camera, I figured I'd post up some pics of it. It's a '88 Dodge Daytona (the closest related car to mine I could find, no one makes a model of my car unfortunately).
First pic is the motor in my hands. I'm going to put on some sparkplug wires and some other things for detail. There's not too much to do since I'm shooting for realism (all the parts on the real motor are pretty much black): Pic It came out a little blurry 😱 This one is the back of the motor, showing off the turbo Back
The second pic is just of some parts I have done so far, Here. The body is sanded down and ready for another coat of paint (altho it looks really good in the pic!😀) It's tough to illustrate all of the work I've put into it, but every part that I've worked on has had all of the flashing filed/cut off. Parts with multiple pieces (such as the seats) have had the seams sanded down so you can't even tell the part has multiple pieces, it's pretty cool 😀 All parts that need it are getting painted the way they should be (I have numerous "real life" examples in case I need to check the accuracy of a color) 😀 LMK what ya think
