Pics of my hard wood

Finally broke down and spent the coin on a nice hard wood computer desk. I'm going to be working from home a lot more now so I needed to set up a bit more formal work space. I've got a 17" LCD getting shipped from my IA office so that will replace my 15".

To complete the "black" theme I'm probably going to dump my 5 year old altec speakers and pick up a set of pro medias and a Microsoft wireless keyboard & mouse combo when a bonus check comes rolling in.

Your monitor says Dell eewwwwwww. It's a nice montor but... you know.

BTW: dont you have anything but water around that place?

Very nice, but what do you sit on. The keyboard & monitor look too low to work standing up, but if you sit down it looks like there is a big box right where your feet should go. I am not sure I fully have figured out the ergonomics of this arrangment.

It's a temporary placement and I left the casters that came on it for shipment so I could move it around better until I decide where I ultimately want to put it. That board across where my feet would go would normally be gone but works as a great foot rest right now. That white box is my sub and I'll place that to one side or another at some point. I've got really long legs so it's not as uncomfortable as it looks.

That desk has bad ergonomics and looks like bad design.

1. The open wide space isn't in the center like it should be.
2. Also, the computer space isn't big enough for your tower.
3. The printer space is too small as well.
4. I noticed that piece of wood on the floor in front of your subwoofer. Don't know if that was there but that can be a nusance(sp?).
5. Hope you didn't spend too much.

I think its a nice looking desk. Im not a fand of Oak but still nice looking, just not for me.

All of our bedroom furniture is mission oak as well. It's a simple, yet nice looking style. I'm not a big cherry fan, but lots of people like that.
