I thought they wer selling them, at a lose at first? That and the relability issues at first probably cost more than they budgeted.

Guess they are trying to art least break even maybe?

I highly doubt they were selling at a loss. I think the demand was just much higher than expected so they raised the price. I remember the stink a few years back when they went from like $99k to $114K and lost some HP or something. Realistically though, the increases were at least in line somewhat with inflation.

yeah. They rev too fast for a physical tachometer, so the one on the dash is digital. Or it's a giant marketing ploy or something like that.

I thought it less about the quickness of the revs and more about how quickly it changes (dropping revs when changing gears or letting of the throttle and the jumps of laying back into it). That it was just to rapid of a change for a standard tach.

Not sure if they were selling them at a loss, but the technology certainty changed over time (transmission most notably in 2012+, and many many suspension changes)

Not sure where the power thing came from too... it's only gone up (originally 480hp and now 545hp... 0-60 also changed significantly over time)

They all have a Dual Clutch Transmission which is up there with the Porsche PDK transmission.

Not sure where you got this from... there is a physical tachometer... there are also many many many electronical gauges ... gotta love Japanese electronics
