Got purple sand coming in, a hood with led light(can someone explain why the hood cost almost as much as the tank itself?), assorted plants plants, and canned instafresh blood worms(I should have been feeding them live food from day one) I'll have to visit the pet store in the near future cause i can't find live food on ebay or amazon

The frog brain is simple, i try to reduce my self to their perspective to try to empathize with them much. They are always playing and staying still, then swimming, floating at the top, etc

Is 8mp sufficient in taking higher quality photos than the cam used on the pics in the op. Or should i wait to get a higher end one? Not sure if i want to get into photography entirely, who knows, maybe i will find a new hobby in photography that i thought i'd never like

how about a refurbished canon powershot?

That will be better than the potato you you have now. :p Actually any point and shoot should be fairly cheap to get now days as they are less popular.

Edit: 8MP is low by today's standards but it's not all about the MP when it comes to quality. 8 is still going to yield decent res photos. That Canon is probably going to be good.

@Naer Tell us what your budget, or even just the max you'd prefer to spend, and we can go from there. Doesn't matter if it's $100 (albeit hopefully more) or $5,000.
