A red tie actually makes people more aggressive....and typically not worn with suits....

just get your jacket taken in and change the shirt tie combo and it will be money

It's not too large. it fits him across the shoulders, the length of the sleeves is just about right. It's just a "boxy" style of jacket.

Yeah, because we allll have money to blow on nice things 🙂 For what it matters I've never failed to get a job at an interview that I've worn some combo of that. Not everyone has a silver spoon up their ass.

Looks too big on you across the shoulders and chest, and the sleeves are too long. The jacket length is OK though. Not worth taking it to the tailor IMO (probably will cost you more than you paid for the jacket)

Target has some decently cut jackets for a first suit, I would check them out.
