<< Certian observations can get you lynched on this board :) >>

Your particular observation seemed to be that all women were to be treated as prizes in some game and then used, something I cannot agree with.

<< Hot damn... can't believe I just read through every single post here... >>

Fine. Dont agree, I am not asking you to. In american culture, for the most part, dating is a game. Its a classic example of "I dont want to hear that, so its not true" mentality. As I stated before, many times, MOST people follow the same logic. Men are simple. We want sex. We want sex with the hottest, youngest women we can get. Women, for the most part, are more complicated. They want attention, from men (or other women, you get the point) and loving, caring... emotional fulfillment. For the most part, sex is a means to an end. Women use thier sex appeal, and sex itself to attract guys, and have sex with them to get what they want, just as we use gifts, money, dinners, etc, to get what we want. No gender is superior. But to truly get what you want, you have to play the game. Dating is a game, and the quicker you realize that, the more successful you will be. 90% of the time, from what I have seen, Women marry the richest man they can attract, and men marry the most attractive women they can afford. Of course there are exceptions, but that pretty much sums it up. Its all in how you play "the game" becuase thats exactly what it is.

OK, I wasn't going to post here but it is up again so here goes:

What I Have Learned About Message Boards

They each have their own unique atmosphere, kind of like cities in different parts of the world. What is kosher or popular in one will not always go over well in others. Everytime we start a thread, we are taking a chance that your particular subject or style may not fit in or will be considered controversial. After a while, you figure out what the community environment is like and either you try to conform or you don't, and either you stick around or you don't.

Me, I have found I like "mommy boards" better because I can discuss things that matter most to me among others who have the same concerns. I still peek my head in here regularly, but this is ATOT... I can't change it, and it won't change me.

That said, post in happiness and peace, and don't let any of this ever matter enough to raise your blood pressure or hurt your feelings!

Listen to the voice of reason, BBD...

<< couldnt keep up with the concept of respect for others, so beatin it into you would be a resort, but only cuz you crossed the line with the ugly comment. >>

<< of course behind a monitor & desk... i cant do much, >>

<< I oughta slap you for that. >>

This forum has shaved days off your life today. Not healthy.

I'll take my chances :)

Very true...how about we all just leave it at that, somehow I'm sure there will be plenty more to discuss, after all, this is ATOT ;)
