Pics of Greece *update*

Just got back from my second trip there in two years, and since I never really posted pics from the last one I thought I'd slide those in here as well. I've got many more pics from the two trips floating around, but these were some of the better ones to catch my eye.

Athens at night
Paros - gorgeous island, although it gets quite crowded in the summer
Paros 2 - taken on the other side of the island
Paros 3 - the church sitting behind the hotel I was staying at
Mikonos - extremely fun and beautiful island, be sure to visit it if you're ever in Greece.
Mikonos 2 - another church, this one was towards the edge of the town
Mikonos 3 (NSFW) - imagine those on your living room table
Santorini's Red Sand Beach - its quite a hike to get down there too
Santorini 2 - another church
Coast town - snapped a pic off the back of the boat I was on at the time
Cannons
Beach 1
Beach 2
Beach 3
Beach 4
Don't remember where I took this one, but hey, it looked cool. 🙂

And finally, some of the most spectacular sunsets I've seen in my life:

Sunset 2
Sunset 3
Sunset 4
Sunset 5
Sunset 6
Sunset 7

Enjoy!

WB. I remember there was some concern on here that you were on that plane that ended up crashing into a mountatin.

Greece is such an awesome place. Being half Greek, I've been there twice. My parents had their honeymoon in Santorini, they loved it. There are more than a thousand islands, so there is always somewhere new to visit each time you go there. Their economy is soaring up while ours is dropping furiously. 🙂 Anyways, I installed Google Earth on my dad's computer, and he spent half an hour telling me where everything was when he was a kid. Where he went to school, which roads he took, which church he attended, where he went to college, etc. I want to go back there soon, very nice place.

Sorry we didn't end up meeting anywhere!

Yeah, I wish I had been able to work something out. Would have been awesome to have an ATOT meet on a different continent. 🙂 Maybe next time.

Here are some of my pics from Naxos. I had been using my EOS-20D for two weeks straight while in Germany on business, and I guess I wanted to spend more time on the beach than snapping photos every two seconds. Didn't get too many good ones this time around!

Naxian breakfast special. (Naxian yogurt with fresh fruit and Naxian honey).
