I played the first demo and got all excited about the game. It ran slow on my system (slow PC even though I have Radeon 9800PRO), but it was beautiful none the less. Makes me want to go out and buy faster CPU/Motherboard/Memory.

Yes, the AI did a few really stupid things in a couple of places in the demo...and did some really impressive things as well. I think the game will turn out to be great overall...especially on a decent system.

These screenshots only make me more excited.
 
I played through the demo and I wasn't impressed with the feel of the controls. The weapons felt vague, which made it difficult to predict recoil with any sort of accuracy. Shooting the enemies lacked any satisfaction - the same problem plagued Unreal 2.

At the time I had just finished Call of Duty, which made Far Cry's controls feel sloppy. Maybe I just need more time to get used to the "un-quantifiable" aspects to the game.
