check these guys out. i just went there and got a pair of glasses (lost my old pair :() and it was a very pleasant experience. glasses made quickly, the frame looks really nice (Timberland T 632 (maybe 682)).

i like these guys a lot better than lenscrafters (where i got my previous 3 glasses). not only did they have frames that look a lot better, but the service is leaps and bounds better. the people at my local lenscrafters are like the used-car salesmen of the optometry world.

anyways, that's my plug for a company that i enjoyed doing business with.

oh and they're like 50 bucks cheaper than lenscrafters... looks more expensive but that's because their prices include single vision frames.

Damn, wife needs new glasses, but we live in vancouver (WA). All my work offers is a stupid discount plan. If i ever move to seattle, i'll stick them on my list.

Thanks.

I've been there before, it's pretty good but I like Costco, it's cheaper too.

Ahh, nice glasses. How much? My Armani's are almost the same, but they're rounder and the nose bridge is straighter. How much?

Also, does that place perscriptionize??! How much? Lens Crafters said like 150. I was like, WTF? Thats like the cost of my sunglasses right there!

Mine are almost exactly the same...they're Marchon (i think 600, maybe 145, not sure which number is the model). With all the extra's (tinting, coating, etc) and including the full eye examine I paid like $85 (of course, that's after insurance took a bite outta the bill).

BTW NccOps I'm in Vancouver too...this place is on Mill Plain, near KFC and the ice rink...can't remember the name offhand though.
