Oops... Chelsea just came over and she's not feeling well. I'll be back later after making her some soup and tucking her in.

heh a black cat. like my neighbor's black dog. I took a picture of him at about 3:00pm and you can see the surroundings but he's completely black, like there's nothing there :)

Gotta love black cats, had one for the past eleven years, she's quite nuts. :D Just be careful around halloween and do not let him get out of the house. Too many loonies out there.

Sometimes it's nice to get an older cat that has a great personality than gambling on a kitten - while it may be cute for a year, it could also be a demon for the rest of its life. Bad kitty.

Cool pussy - we have a black one right now and might get another.

Nice looking cat, I'm surprised it doesn't hide. When I first got my cats they would hide for the first few weeks until they got use to our house.

The cat's name is "Jett" which can be seen in the file folder and file names. We got this one because the owner is moving to San Diego and can't take the cat with her. Otherwise I would have gone to the animal shelter and purchased a kitten to raise myself. It is officially "ours" but with the way my roommate takes care of crap, the cat will end up being mine or dead. He knows nothing about cats, but atleast he's asking the right questions about raising them. I've raised cats and dogs (mostly dogs) all of my life, so this is going to be a piece of cake. And, when he's been inside for about a month or so to learn that this is home, we'll let him out occasionally and go with him for short periods of time until he learns to come back home. He's primarily been an outside cat most of his life so we're not really going to do much with being outside. He's neutered and has been declawed on the front legs. Letting him outside (especially around here) could kill him.

He's already finding places to hide and places to perch. Yes, I said perch. This one loves one of the higher shelves on my bookshelf. It's almost to the ceiling and he can make it up from a few boxes next to it. He sits there in my room staring down the hall into the livingroom/kitchen and at the front door. Kinda like a lookout. I bet he feels safe there, for now. Jett is already learning my voice, too. This is gonna be fun.

I didn't have to "pick" between different cats. And this one isn't evil looking at all. He's..... opinionated.

Yes, there are. I read that many pet stores and animal shelters actually quit selling/allowing adoption of black cats around that time of year, then resume a few weeks later.

Very cute kitty. :)

Cats are inherently evil. Except the ones that think they're dogs.

My friend has three cats. All of them are friendly, playful, and as cuddly as a ten-week old puppy.

Freaks the hell outta me. :p
