Pics from this Weekend

Anubis

No Lifer
yes the real Football

went to see Chelsea vs AC Milan in philly yesterday, was nice, very good game, had nice seats and the new stadium there is really nice as well

there were about 40,000 people there, Milan won 3-2, 4 of the 4 goals were scored on at the other end 🙁 but it was great anyway, best goal was scored right in front of us, Cafu on a sweet full volley from an impossiable angle, burried it in the far upper 90

pics on my site Here

What kind of camera are you using? Looks pretty sharp ...

Nikon D70, most were shot with a 70-300g lens, ISO 800 shutter priority set to 1/500, which is why i had to shoot at ISO 800,

and so you all know, security there SUCKS, I walked in with my camera backpack, camera and 4 lenses as well as other things, went through 2 check points, where they padded me down and checked my ticket, not once NOT ONCE did they even ask me what i had in the bag, not that i mind not being hassled by security but WTF? I could have carried in 50lbs of C4 and blown the place up

anyone else been to the football tour that has been through america? I really wanted to see the Liverpool games, but they weren't in my area. Bumped to show some love for futbol.

I'm just happy that FoxSports broadcast every game from the Champions World series. It was fun to see all those top Euro teams play. I hadn't seen many of them play for a while.

After reading your post, i checked to see if Sunday's Charity Shield game is being broadcast and .. it is.. OMG.. I never thought FoxSportsWorld would carry that! interesting.

So, the Charity Shield on Sunday, and the NFL Hall of fame game on Monday Night is something to look forward to 😀

fox sports world shows 2 EPL games a week here, and there 1 or 2 on PPV as well

Hey Anubis, awesome pics ! (pic 6 where they are stretching is just funny 😉 )
Looks like the weather was ok
everytime i go here (foxboro), it rains like a mofo.. (last 2 times anyway)..lol

i really enjoyed the playing ability of Alan Smith when he was with Leeds. I wonder if he is going to be able to pair up with van Nistelrooy immediately or are they still going to use Saha. I am not a very big Man U fan though, just a fan on Smith and Scholes.

Isn't van nistelroy out for a month, i jus heard it yesterday.
And Patrick Viera's talks to Real Madrid stalled. Should make sunday's game intersesting !

I couldn't possibly see Viera going to Real Madrid. He is such an important piece in their midfield play. And the fans love him as a captain. van nistelrooy i can see going to Real Madrid because he doesn't seem to have any loyalties to united.

Hey Memo, you think Alan Smith is going to mature into the next 'big thing'. He has the potential and looks (if he gets a decent haircut)... Maybe that was one of the factors why Sir Alex paid so much. Of course he is talented at the mo'.. don't get me wrong!

I really think he will be in the top tier of players. But not the elite players of the premiership i.e. Henry/Shearer in his golden boot days/Owen (<- byast 🙂)

I think he will do well because he wants to play for Man U. He loved playing for Leeds but he knew playing in a lesser league would only hurt him, plus he got some money for Leeds to invest in up and comming players because it seemed like they were not going to be a factor any time in the near future with all their financial problems.
