I wandered around Washington, DC for a few hours today in the snow. Got the idea from DainBramaged's thread. Comments welcome. Description is in Filename, still trying to get a handle on Coppermine.

A big bonus....met a Washington Post photographer (with a Canon Mark1d) and I could be in the Post tomorrow!!!

I got about as close as you can get, ~250 feet to the front door from Pennsylvania ave. From the back is at least 500 feet. Uniformed Secret Service cops are constantly looking at you though!!

Haven't been in a downpour, but I have always wanted to see it in the snow since many famous battles (Chosen Resovior) were fought in frigid temperatures and lots of snow. Also its the first time I have been able to get nice reflection shots, but couldnt get all 18....
 
Heh i moved from DC to Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday.

Go to Lima on K st. for me. And eat some sushi at Chopsticks on M and Wisconsin.
