School bus crashes make me think that pics requests are kinda crass. (I have two kids... both too young to attend school though)

That said, I would like some pics after the fact maybe, showing the destruction to the vehicles. -TAL

Well...yeah. I have two kids, myself. Both are home today, though...schools are closed today.

I just want to see the bus in the wall. Reminds me of when a car backed out of a parking lot across the street from where I worked, drove across 5th St. and slammed thru the brick wall in the data center on the 1st floor.

Black ice is not cool. I don't care how good you are in winter driving, black ice sucks.

I live in Columbia too. Thankfully the school district that I live in decided to open schools with a 2 hour delay.

However after the school bus accident. All schools in Columbia closed. Amazing what the possibilities of a lawsuit will do!!

I really hate the term black ice. People drive too fast for conditions, don't leave enough room for stopping, or they just plain don't see that the road has some frost or ice on it. Using the term black ice just gives people who screw up an excuse but it fits into the "I'm a victim" mentality that is so common in our society today.

Not true. :| My dad spun out into a ditch going under 20 MPH. The second he touched the brake the car started spinning. What else are you supposed to do? Not brake?
