During the last Steam Sale, 2 of my friends and I picked up Pico Park and fired it up over the weekend. What resulted was about 2 and a half hours of a pure and distilled co-op experience. No flash or waste and completely simple presentation. Most levels have you trying to get to a door and leave, usually by picking up a key, but each 4-level world is defined by a gameplay theme which keeps it fresh. For example, there's a "2 player" world which reduces active players to... two players (but swaps out a player with an observer at key points).
It's only $5 now, supports couch co-op and online (except one world which says "offline only) and is well worth the money.
