Pickup NHL Hockey in Baltimore

I was out skating on the downtown, outdoor rink off of Caroline (south of Alice Anna). Got talking to an organizer who said there were going to be ~18 NHL players (not all from the Caps) coming to the rink on Friday to "mingle" with us and play some pickup amongst themselves. The rink was going to set up bleachers for us to watch.

I have talked to everyone I know who is involved in Hockey here and no ones has heard of this.

Can anyone confirm or refute this? Thanks.

I have heard of Alexander Semin playing local pickup games in the DC area in the past ... can u just imagine...

Believe it or not - I used to be a Flames fan but now I cheer for the OILERS!! Albertans would kill me.
