I've always built our own gaming PCs, but I need help picking a laptop with specs that will not break the bank and allow for dual use. I built my 8 and 9 year olds decent, mild gaming PCs, but for Christmas '15 I want to get them both laptops. It will be for general computer usage, homework at the kitchen table if you will, and *some* gaming, but primarily Minecraft, with some mods. I don't need it to be an all out gaming PC but I want it to at least play Minecraft with mods with good performance.
These are the Recommended Requirements:
CPU: Intel Core i3 or AMD Athlon II (K10) 2.8 GHz
RAM: 4GB
GPU: GeForce 2xx Series or AMD Radeon HD 5xxx Series (Excluding Integrated Chipsets) with OpenGL 3.3
Anything I should look out for that doesn't translate the same from PC to Laptop hardware when researching this? Anything I should look out for from someone's experience who has maybe gone through this same scenario?
I appreciate you feedback, thank you...
