Picking Free/Cheap DNS for home setup

Title kind of states it.

But for some clarification.

I am in the process of setting up AT&T business class fiber optic at my home(Sacramento area of California) It is fixed IP and they passed no DNS info so I'm on my own 😉

I am not a network admin/engineer so best DNS is not in my knowledgebase.

For my first test run, I am setting up a DD-WRT modem and will eventually convert to PFSense firewall.

The question is quite simply, what is the best free/cheap DNS that is reliable ad doesn't data share?

Since I know the question will be asked, I am doing business class fiber optic for home use because it is almost the only option I have where I live. No ATT DSL, No cable, and I refuse to deal with latency/reliability of satellite/wireless solutions.

And between the two answers, we've hit the three I selected randomly so far 🙂

OpenDNS was touted as not sharing info.

I'm not sure on the Google or Level3 ones.

Not that I'm hugely worried about my browsing habits but I prefer not to add another place where I'm the product 😉
